Angie was born in South Korea, moving to Canada as a young child and spending much of her youth there.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music at the University of Maryland, and has 15 years of experience teaching both cello and piano to students of all ages, as well as a wide range of students with physical disabilities.

Angie has a passion for sharing what she loves about music, utilizing the Imagine Arts approach of teaching students how to properly read music, use proper technique with their instrument, and playing songs students are inspired to learn in many different genres.  She works hard to motivate her students to reach their personal best, whether young or old, and tailors their lessons to meet their individual needs and goals.
