Banks is a Saxophonist/Woodwind Instructor who has a strong passion for teaching and performing. Since starting his study of the Saxophone at age 10, Banks has always strived to better himself as a musician and a teacher. He recently relocated to Atlanta where he completed his Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies from Georgia State University, and prior to that he studied Saxophone and Flute at Mercer University in Macon GA.
As a teacher, Banks believes the primary goal is to serve as a musical role model for each student and to allow their creativity to flourish. He believes that seeing the student grow is one of the most gratifying experiences a teacher can have.
