Samantha

Samantha is a pianist, singer and music teacher originally from Cuba, having recently relocated to the United States. She’s earned a dual Bachelors Degree in Musicology and in Piano Studies (including a focus on Piano Teaching and Ensembles), and a Masters degree in Sociocultural Studies with an emphasis in Music.

Teaching music occupies a fundamental place in her life, as she’s studied for more than 22 years. Samantha started working as a music teacher fourteen years ago, allowing her to gain experience working with children in music education. In Cuba, in addition to being a professional musician and playing with various classical and popular music groups, While in Cuba she taught piano to children between the ages of 4 and 15, having graduated several generations of students, many of whom are now teachers and professional musicians.

Samantha feels personal satisfaction seeing her students learn a new instrument and to sing, making it part of their lives and their own future. Teaching music to children is her passion, as it broadens their cultural horizons and initiates them into a new world with a new language, the language of music!
