Mark has been playing violin since he was 4, starting out with the Suzuki Method and continuing with that approach through age 10. As a teen he branched out using other methods, eventually studying violin in England and later attending and graduating from West Virginia University, Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Music in Applied Violin.
Mark has played with many groups over the years including the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony, WVU Symphony, Baylor Symphony, and Principal 2nd Gwinnett Symphony and Concertmaster with Da Salo Solisti. He continues to be actively engaged in concertizing, teaching and exploring electronic violin music fused with Rock, Blues, Bluegrass and EDM.
Mark also has many years of experience in preparing Georgia violin students for LGPE performances, orchestra placements and larger auditions like State orchestra. He is always ready to help students achieve their personal best, inspiring them to realize their highest aspirations.
