Growing up in a musical family, Phoenix acquired a strong love for music early on in their life. They began piano lessons at the age of 5, and never looked back! Their passion led them to a strong love of accompanying, starting their career at the age of 14. They’ve gone on to play with a symphony, premiere a musical and study under several notable concert pianists. Phoenix started teaching at the age of 17, working with their high school theatre company and tutoring peers. When they moved to Atlanta in 2021, they taught with School of Rock before joining the Imagine Arts team. Phoenix is a neurodivergent educator, and has experience working with ADHD and autistic students. Their main goal as an educator is to provide equitable and enjoyable experiences for every student!
