MarKay, a native Atlantan and long-term Marietta resident, has been stitching, doodling, gluing, drawing, sculpting, painting, costuming and designing her whole life. She has taught drawing, painting, Claymation, STEM classes, art history and sewing to students in both public and private settings.

MarKay loves to introduce her students to a myriad of art tools and techniques to make their ideas come to life on the page or the canvas, while introducing them to works of established artists that will inspire them. When not teaching or shooing her cat off her art projects, she and her husband love to travel to explore history and architecture.
