Ayla

Ayla is an artist-educator based in Atlanta, Georgia—her hometown where she was born and raised—passionate about creating loving and inclusive art in the South while fostering the next generation of creative minds.

The most rewarding aspect of her artistic practice is sharing her joy for learning through teaching, believing that art education should be accessible, experimental, and deeply personal. Her teaching experience spans multiple disciplines including painting and drawing, comics and illustration, worldbuilding, and experimental materials, where she guides students in building foundational skills while encouraging personal expression and pushing creative boundaries.

Some of her current artistic work explores the intersection of printmaking and puppetry, focusing on the magic of human hands creating belief through art and storytelling. With her 2025 BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Ayla is committed to creating inclusive spaces where creativity can flourish and where the transformative power of art-making can be shared across communities.
