Gabriel, an active performer and teacher, has played the cello for over eight years and is working towards completing his studies in Music at KSU.
He has been taught by a few world-renowned cellists, as well as members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. He has sat principal cellist in a variety of performances and continues to share his musical knowledge through private lessons, school sectionals, and more.
Some of his accomplishments include receiving the John and Linda Cooke Quartet
Scholarship, the Honors Dr. Bobbie Bailey Endowed Music Scholarship, and he was also one of two string finalists for the KSU 2023 Concerto Competition.
