Chandler is a metro Atlanta native who has been teaching, directing, and stage managing children’s theatre for over 15 years. Her passion for watching children grow through the performing arts is one of her greatest joys and has led to some of her most rewarding experiences!
Because of her extensive background not just as a theatre educator, but a childcare professional, she deeply values the education side of theatre education, and she believes in helping children become well-rounded and empathetic individuals through performance. Her coaching revolves around becoming familiar with all aspects of acting by learning how to use your voice and body as an effective storytelling instrument through imaginative play.
Chandler holds a bachelor’s degree in English Writing and Rhetoric from Georgia Gwinnett College. She has worked as a teaching artist at The Aurora, The Alliance, and Stage Door Theatres, and has taught puppetry and acting workshops at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Dunwoody Elementary School. Her favorite directing credits with Stage Door include Annie Jr, The Addams Family, and Seussical the Musical Jr (November 2026).
